Lee County Band To Present “Festive Moments” January 22

The Lee County Community Band will present Festive Moments, its first concert of the New Year, at 3 p.m. on January 22 at Cape Coral High School.

Under the baton of Richard Bradstreet, the band will perform Shostakovich’s Festive Overture and Leroy Anderson’s Sandpaper Ballet, plus a potpourri of light classical pieces, Broadway hits, and marches including Gershwin Classics, Man of La Mancha, In a Persian Market, and Barry Manilow on Tour.

An institution in Southwest Florida, the Lee County Community Band enjoys a large, loyal, enthusiastic audience. Come early and enjoy these always well-attended concerts. Admission is free, though donations are accepted.

Additional concert dates are Feb. 12, March 5, and April 2, 2017. All will be at Cape Coral High School at 3 p.m. Cape Coral High School is at 2300 Santa Barbara Boulevard, one block north of Veterans Parkway.
